Sierra Stoves wood-pellet outdoor heaters cost about $4 to run an evening. They don't need a propane tank, electrical outlet, or rebuild kit. CNC stainless steel built in Roseville, California.
Sierra Stoves came out of a workshop conversation: 'Why does outdoor heating cost $25/night to run?' The answer was propane economics. The fix was wood pellets — abundant, cheap, and clean — combined with stainless-steel CNC heat-exchanger geometry our parent shop has been refining since 1977. The result heats 12 feet around it for the cost of a bag of pellets a weekend.
